The Camaroncito beach resort is in the center of a 600-meter soft sand private beach cove with 16 acres of gently cared-for rainforest behind it. Our four wooden cabanas are nestled amid the dappled shade of coconut and mangrove trees, each with a lovely open terrace view of the beach and ocean to the front, and the lush rainforest behind.
La Ensenada, our included-in-the-price social area, restaurant, and bar, is right on the beach. There is both covered and open space for morning yoga and evening salsa dancing! You will have free use of our beach volleyball, boogie boards, lounge chairs, bamboo beach mats and Turkish towels, water games, and more.

We are a small, family owned and operated business that strives to provide exceptional experiences and reasonable prices to enable normal people to have an amazing vacation.
We have only four beachfront cabanas, each with a private hot water bathroom, so privacy and personal service are ensured. Two cabanas have a queen bed for double occupancy, and two cabanas have a queen bed plus twin bunkbeds for quad occupancy.

We welcome all guests seeking an eco-friendly vacation, including those from the LGBTQ community, people wanting complete solitude, and those seeking to socialize, exercise and have fun.
Our all-inclusive model ensures you are wined and dined and entertained (or relaxed) to your heart's content. We offer an escape from traffic and crowds, a gift of witnessing wildlife nature in-person, without any cages, and an opportunity to revel in a night sky unaffected by man-made light.
The bulk of our food and drink is sourced and prepared locally, though the bar and spice-rack are international. We bake our own bread and make our own fermented fruit juices and frozen treats.
Camaroncito is the creation of Ernesto & Sarah, beach bums, nature enthusiasts, foodies, salsa dancers and avid travelers. Our permanent home is on the property, and we personally ensure the delight of our guests, together with our trained team of locals.
From the moment you book, we strive to ensure your satisfaction with a detailed welcome guide, including directions, what to bring/not bring, and seasonal norms. And we respond to all inquiries within hours, not days.
We even provide rubber boots for hiking the rainforest or horseback riding, rechargeable headlamps for night time use, and natural bug spray. For guests staying 5 days or more, we even provide free laundry service.

Camaroncito is truly full service. Most guests find a small backpack with a few changes of light weight clothing and beach wear is sufficient.

Internet & Office
Starlink Satellite internet is free to use through Wifi in La Ensenada. The connection speed is sufficient for remote workers, though stormy weather can interrupt the signal. There is no cellular service at Camaroncito.

Secured Parking is included at both boat launch areas: Mansuerto and Coclesito. Chauffer service from and to anywhere in Panama can be arranged.

Powerful fans and open air design keep you comfortable It is warm and humid all year ... 75`- 85` F or 24`- 30 C. This is the rainforest. Most days involve a mix of sunny blue skies, cloud cover, and rain.
