What type of information do we collect?

We receive, collect and store any information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way through webforms and email interaction.  Our domain server and website hosting company, WIX, and Google, use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page. We also collect personally identifiable information you have provided to us through social media interaction through Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, including name, email, communications content, comments, feedback, reviews, recommendations, and personal profile data.  We do NOT collect payment information that you provide directly to Paypal, our payment processing vendor.

How and why do we collect information?

When you conduct a transaction on our website, as part of the process, we collect and store personal information you give us such as your name, address, cell phone, email address and preferences for food, drink and activities while you are our guest. Your personal information will be used for the specific purpose of providing you with a quotation to stay at our resort, to support your arrival and departure, and to provide services to you while you are with us.  

How do we store and use your information?

Our company is hosted on the Wix.com website platform which provides us with the online software that allows us to market and sell our services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.  We do not collect or store your payment information.  The direct payment gateway we use through Wix.com is Paypal, both of which adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

How can you withdraw your consent?

Camaroncito EcoResort & Beach does not disclose prospect or guest data to any third party, nor do we use it for any purpose other than stated above:  to provide quotation for and provision of services at our resort.  If you don’t want us to process your data anymore, please contact us via email at:  info@camaroncito.net and we will delete any information we have stored about you immediately.
